LOS ANGELES, CA – MMC, Inc.’s unique buffet of human resource outsourcing options recognized by former U.S. Secretary of Health Secretary Thompson as a perfect business solution for business enterprises of all sizes. MMC began working with former U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Tommy G. Thompson on an advisory basis to create a systematic approach in which MMC’s services will better address the dynamic issues American health care employees and their employers face. About MMC’s plans for global expansion, Thompson has stated, “The American health care system is broken and the solutions are not going to come from the bureaucrats in Washington.  The solutions come from entrepreneurs like Mashi. He has built the MMC platform of services by advancing tried and true means for improving economic stability of small and midsize businesses which serve as the fuel of our economy. MMC provides affordable employee welfare and health benefits options to American workers and because the solutions are working for companies of all sizes I am convinced that there are lessons that can be transferred on a broad scale.” Secretary Thompson currently serves as the Independent Chairman of the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions and serves as an advisor to companies as well. Elected governor of Wisconsin in 1986, he was reelected in 1990, and in 1994 became the first governor in the state’s history to be elected to a third four-year term. In 1998, he was elected to a fourth term, and served in that position until his appointment as secretary of Health and Human Services in 2001. As the Health and Human Services Secretary, Thompson served as the nation’s leading advocate for the health and welfare of all Americans. He worked to modernize and add prescription drug coverage to Medicare for the first time in the program’s history. A leading advocate of welfare reform, he also focused on expanding services to seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income Americans. Additionally, Secretary Thompson is recognized for his contributions to the U.S. response to the threat of bioterrorism and for his leadership in the fight against HIV/AIDS in the United States and abroad as chairman of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. MMC’s collaboration with business dynamos like Thompson is certain to improve the costs of operating a business and improving worker satisfaction globally. Mr. Rahmani is delighted by MMC’s expanding horizons.  “We are happy that MMC is recognized as the premier Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) service provider for start-up and midsize business enterprises, and are hopeful that efforts to remain innovative in how cost-effective solutions are delivered to clients will be appreciated by global business markets.” Some of the steps MMC has undertaken in furtherance of its global expansion plans include the purchase of Kronos Workforce Timekeeper and SAP Business Solutions.  Kronos and SAP will enable MMC to interface electronically with its clients who are located throughout the U.S.  These software programs will also enhance MMC’s abilities to merge its human resources solutions with specific work environments and relying on hiring and employment data stored through its clients’ varying databases. Additionally, Mr. Rahmani’s recent appointments to the Executive Boards of Claremont Graduate University and the Board of Visitors of the Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management, andmembership on the esteemed UCLA Human Resources Round Table are also anticipated to light the way for global expansion.  In November 2006, Mr. Rahmani traveled to Japan with members of Claremont Graduate University and the Drucker Graduate School boards to meet with Chairmen of the Boards for Toyota and 7-Eleven Stores Worldwide Chain Division. This meeting proved extremely helpful for confirming that employers around the world can benefit from MMC’s one-quarter of a century experience as a provider of innovative management services. MMC Inc. has been providing HR Consulting and Outsourcing service solutions since 1983. Its foundation of success is built on its ability to offer complete solutions for some of the biggest challenges businesses face today — human resources management and increasing litigation of labor law employment issues. MMC’s clients are able to enjoy more time and resources to dedicate to revenue-generating activities while we take care of everything else.
