MMC Celebrates Earth Day!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (April 22, 2009) - In celebration of Earth Day, April 22, 2009, MMC is planting a new garden at corporate headquarters in Los Angeles, California. Employees are invited to bring their own plant to be put into the garden.

A few other ideas for companies who want to get involved is turning off all the lights for an hour, or planning a carpool day. The possibilities are endless, but you can decide what type of event would work out the best for your organization.

According to Earth Day Network, Earth Day has been in existence for nearly 40 years. It is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. Earth Day 2009, April 22, will mark the beginning of The Green Generation CampaignTM which will also be the focus of the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day in 2010.

The Earth Day planting event is on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, 11:30am at the MMC Corporate Office, Los Angeles, California.
