Dan Van Bogaert, J.D. also serves on MMC’s panel of HRCI/MCLE trainers. In addition to serving as a Human Resources Consultant for MMC’s Northern California operations, Mr. Van Bogaert is a widely known and highly regarded law school professor who has extensive experience in training human resources professionals throughout California – which is the nation’s hot bed for some of the most complex labor and employment laws. Mr. Van Bogaert has more than 20 years experience in designing, implementing, and overseeing administration of corporate employment policies, benefit plans, and related ERISA compliance practices for the County of Los Angeles among other public and private employers. Mr. Van Bogaert earned a B.S. degree from San Jose State University in 1968. After acquiring vast experience in human resources and employee benefits administration, he earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of West Los Angeles in 1979. Mr. Van Bogaert’s passion for teaching, employer/employee relations, and labor law has resulted in his speaking before thousands. In addition, Mr. Van Bogaert has authored several published articles which legal practitioners, human resources professionals, and educators rely on regularly.
