Sexual Harassment Training for Supervisors

This program is designed to help organizations meet requirements as laid out in California Assembly Bill 1825. Business, associations and organizations have a responsibility to maintain a workplace that is free of sexual harassment.

As of January 1, 2006, all businesses in California with 50 or more employees must provide two hours of sexual harassment training and education for supervisory employees every two years.

This comprehensive program consists of four sections:

1) The first section deals with understanding sexual harassment legislation;

2) The second section defines sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation;

3) The third section provides strategies for preventing sexual harassment; and the

4) Fourth section outlines steps to investigate and address complaints of sexual harassment in the workplace.
